A Comparative Study on Academic Achievement of Mathematics and English with Other Subjects of Secondary Level in BTR of Assam, India, Using Mahalanobis Distance

The present work is a comparative study of four different subjects’ achievements such as mathematics, English, general sciences, and social studies between two student groups in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Assam, India. Three types are considered viz., tribal nontribal, boys girls, rural urban from secondary higher schools BTR. Mahalanobis Distance (MD) used to calculate difference dynamical nature achievement students subjects. result revealed that there no significant girls; nontribal communities, belonging schools, boys, girls character taken into account.
